Proposed Amendments to GEOC Bylaws

Proposed amendments in accordance with the Division's current bylaws

The amendments for the current Divisional bylaws were requested by the Committee on Constitution and Bylaws (C&B) of the ACS, on Aug 24 2018, to update the contents in our current out-of-date bylaws, which are no longer consistent with the ACS Governing Document.

The proposed bylaws have been prepared and reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Division and confirmed by C&B. For details, please find the proposed bylaws for the ACS Geochemistry Division in the attachment.

(Update 11/5/2019): In the attachment, the contents that are specific for the Geochemistry Division are highlighted for your reference.

The decision on the amendments of the bylaws will be made by the results of the vote by the members, e.g., passed by 2/3 vote (based on the communication with C&B, Aug 24, 2018). The vote is open until 11/30 for the Division members.
